Job summary

Murphy in the United Kingdom is seeking a skilled vehicle technician to perform inspections, servicing and maintenance to OEM standards. You will record information digitally using Syrinx App and support a busy workshop.

You should have NVQ2/3 in Vehicle Maintenance, a full UK driving licence, and bring your own tools. Murphy offers progressive training, generous holiday and a safety-focused, supportive team culture.

Qualifications

• Experience in vehicle maintenance and diagnostics.
• NVQ2 or NVQ3 in Vehicle Maintenance.
• Full UK driving licence.
• Own tools required.

Responsibilities

• Conduct periodic inspections, servicing and maintenance to a high standard, recording information digitally (Syrinx App).
• Perform twenty-six-week inspections on light commercial vehicles as assigned.
• Diagnose and repair complex faults on light commercial vehicles.
• Conduct MOT preparations.
• Maintain a safe, efficient workshop environment and gear.
• Provide timely and accurate diagnosis and fault repair.

What your day will look like:

• Conduct periodic inspections, servicing and maintenance to a high standard in line with manufacturers specifications and recording information digitally including photographic evidence on Syrinx App.
• Conduct regular twenty-six-week inspections on light commercial vehicles as assigned to you.
• Diagnose and repair of complex faults on light commercial vehicles
• Conduct MOT preparations.
• Contribute to the maintenance of a safe and efficient workshop and environment
• Timely and accurate diagnosis and repair of faults.

What we need from you:

• Knowledge that you have acquired through experience
• Education to NVQ2 or 3 equivalents in Vehicle Maintenance
• Full UK driving licence
• Own tools required
