Ocado Logistics seeks an LGV Team Manager to oversee our transport operation in the Dordon area. You will manage shift scheduling, fleet management, and lead a driver team to deliver high performance within a 24-hour operation requiring day, night and rotating shifts.

Experience in logistics is beneficial but not required; transferable logistics/vehicle fleet skills are welcome. We value strong stakeholder communication and HR policy awareness.

Qualifications

Job description

We're looking for an inspiring and results-driven LGV Team Manager to join our team in Dordon. (North Birmingham/Tamworth Area).

In this role, you'll take the wheel of our LGV operation, leading your team with energy and expertise across a variety of shift patterns. You'll ensure everything runs like clockwork, hitting targets, boosting performance, and keeping our delivery wheels turning smoothly, every single day.

About the Role

As a LGV Team Manager, you oversee all aspects of our Transport operation and responsibilities related to our Operators License which include and are not limited to fleet, facilities, and team management.

The role operates on a full-time permanent basis with 42-hour per week schedules (average) and on a 4 on 4 off pattern (12-hour shifts). Shifts rotate between Days, Mids and Nights. It's a fantastic opportunity to advance your career in a key role within a leading company. It's a 24 hour operation and team managers are expected to rotate from days and nights.

Although experience in logistics is beneficial, it's not required. If you have strong transferable Logistics/Warehouse skills, we'd love to hear from you!

Key Responsibilities
