Ocado Logistics is seeking a proactive LGV Team Manager to lead a busy transport operation in a 24‑hour environment. You will oversee drivers, schedule shifts and ensure compliance with EU driver hours rules while upholding safety and service standards.

The role offers a 4 on 4 off pattern with 12‑hour shifts, 42 hours per week on average, and opportunities to develop leadership capabilities within a renowned logistics business.

Qualifications

• Proven people management and team‑building experience.
• Strong knowledge of the highway code.
• Familiarity with EU driver hours and Working Time Directive for mobile workers.
• Experience in fleet, distribution, warehousing or related logistics environments.
• Operator licence awareness training desirable but not essential.
• Experience communicating with stakeholders and service providers.
• Familiarity with HR policies and procedures.

About The Role

We're seeking a manager passionate about learning, leading and logistics to manage a team in our Transport department. As a LGV Team Manager, you oversee all aspects of our Transport operation and responsibilities related to our Operators License which include and are not limited to fleet, facilities, and team management.

The role operates on a full-time permanent basis with 42‑hour per week schedules (average) and on a 4 on 4 off pattern (12‑hour shifts). Shifts rotate between Days, Mids and Nights. It’s a fantastic opportunity to advance your career in a key role within a leading company. It's a 24‑hour operation and team managers are expected to rotate from days and nights.

Although experience in logistics is beneficial, it’s not required. If you have strong transferable skills, we’d love to hear from you!

Key Responsibilities

About You
