Job summary

GXO Logistics, Inc. is seeking a Transport Team Leader for our Greene King site in Greenford. This permanent role supports day-to-day transport operations, leading a team of drivers and coordinating with planners to ensure safe, on-time deliveries.

Qualifications

• Experience within a transport or logistics operation.
• Proactive with strong communication and problem solving.
• Previous leadership or supervisory experience desirable.
• Good knowledge of transport compliance and health & safety requirements.

Responsibilities

• Support the safe and efficient running of the transport operation during your shift.
• Ensure the effective and timely kick-out and de-briefing of all drivers.
• Be the focal point for all transport and customer related queries.
• Work with the planning team to ensure vehicles and drivers are utilised effectively.
• Maintain fleet compliance, including vehicle defects, servicing and MOT schedules.

What You'll Do In a Typical Day
