DHL Supply Chain in Peterborough is seeking a Transport First Line Manager to oversee daily transport operations. The role involves delivering transport plans, leading drivers and admin teams, and ensuring compliance with Driver Hours and WTD regulations.

The position is permanent and full-time, offering a structured shift pattern from Monday to Friday, 10am-6pm, with a pay rate of £30,000 to £33,000 DOE. An attractive benefits package accompanies the role.

Competenze

• Background working in a transport office, logistics or wider supply chain environment.
• Strong knowledge of Driver Hours legislation, Working Time Directive (WTD) and transport compliance.
• Ability to prioritise workload and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Good working knowledge of Excel and spreadsheet management.

Mansioni

• Deliver effective transport plans to meet customer, operational and network requirements.
• Lead, manage and motivate drivers and transport administration teams.
• Conduct performance reviews, one-to-ones and engagement activities.
• Ensure driver and fleet compliance, including Driver Hours and Working Time Directive regulations.
• Maintain strong communication with transport, warehouse and customer stakeholders.
• Promote and enforce health & safety standards and company procedures.
