Are you a Transport Supervisor looking for an environment that will help accelerate your career? Can you juggle multiple tasks at any one time? If so, we are looking for an experienced Transport Supervisor to join us at one of our sites in Goole for our customer Soprema - Celotex on a full-time, permanent basis working 14:00 - 22:00.

What you’ll do on a typical day:

• Meet customer requirements for the profitable, safe, and efficient transport of goods, adhering to company quality procedures.
• Execute the daily transport plan by managing drivers and resources efficiently and cost-effectively.
• Maintain compliance and customer service standards, monitor driver PDA compliance, and support continuous improvement initiatives.
• Plan and optimize the artic fleet and cover planner absences.

What you need to succeed at XPO:

• Previous industry experience in a similar role.
• A CPC qualification would be advantageous.
• Knowledge of using planning software like Paragon in a transport/logistics environment is a plus but not essential.
• Excellent attention to detail and a good geographical knowledge of the UK.
• Understanding of driver hours regulations.
