Wolseley Group in Darlington is seeking a Transport Supervisor to support our afternoon and evening transport operation. You will oversee drivers, plan routes and handle tachograph data, ensuring safe and efficient deliveries.

We're looking for someone with previous people-management experience, strong organisational skills and good IT abilities. This role is full-time, with development opportunities and a supportive team environment.

Responsibilities

• Supporting the afternoon and evening transport operation, ensuring a safe and efficient service
• Conducting driver check-ins and debriefs, managing transport queries and supporting a team of drivers
• Planning routes, downloading tachograph data and completing transport administration and reporting
• Working closely with warehouse teams to ensure smooth day-to-day operations
• Supporting driver performance through 1-2-1s, mid-year and annual reviews alongside the Transport Manager
