Here at XPO, we take our people seriously. We’re looking for a talented Night Transport Supervisor to join us, working Sunday to Thursday, 2100 - 0600 at our site in Crick. As part of our transport network operations, you’ll oversee 30 drivers, managing collections and deliveries for two contracts with high street brands: Lakeland and Nespresso.

Pay, benefits and more:

We’re offering a salary of up to £30,000. Benefits include 25 days holiday (plus bank holidays), with options to buy additional days. You’ll also have access to high street discounts, cycle to work scheme, workplace pension, and other perks.

What you’ll do on a typical day:

• Coordinate transport operations on site and at customer premises to meet expectations
• Liaise with management to optimize the use of hire vehicles and subcontractors, minimizing costs
• Ensure driver compliance with working time regulations and investigate incidents promptly
• Manage daytime transport operations, including vehicle planning, dispatching, and paperwork
• Maintain Tacho management system compliance and address infringements
• Investigate and resolve missing mileage issues
• Handle breakdowns and vehicle defects efficiently
• Provide accurate handovers and manage health and safety protocols

What you need to succeed at XPO:

• Understanding of fast-paced transport team dynamics
• Excellent communication skills for stakeholder engagement
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Excel and Outlook
