The post holder will support the Assistant Facilities Manager and Facilities Manager in delivering safe and effective Transport services for the Estates and Facilities function.
Overseeing day to day supervision of the Logistics teams which comprises of post, transport and waste services. To assist and contribute to the delivery of a professional and customer focused service to all users across Trust sites working to standards laid down in Trust policies, Trust’s Standing Financial Instructions and Transport legislation to provide a safe environment for patients.
To facilitate the collection of urgent response Specimens from Operating Theatres to Pathology Labs, Bulk Case Notes, Patients Meals, routine Specimens & Blood Products. Also the movement of staff (Bus Services) between main and peripheral sites in a coordinated and consistently professional manner
