The role
As a Transport Supervisor, you will be responsible for the day-to-day management of our companys fleet within your designated branch or cluster of branches. You will ensure all transport and vehicle servicing requirements comply with both company policy and legislation, overseeing key areas such as tachographs, vehicle defect management, and security features. You will conduct investigation meetings with drivers, reviewing matters such as tachograph infringements, vehicle accidents, and traffic violations before making recommendations to the Regional Manager. You will also support compliance by carrying out audits, monitoring fleet performance, and working closely with the Area Transport Manager to uphold best practices.
About You
To be successful in this role, you will need to be organised, detail-oriented, and confident in managing compliance requirements. You will have a strong understanding of transport legislation, obtained through experience as a Transport Supervisor or similar. Youll also have excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively with colleagues at all levels.
