Job summary

Domino's is seeking a Transport Shift Manager in Milton Keynes on a 12-month Fixed Term Contract to lead drivers and coordinators, ensuring vehicle compliance and timely store deliveries. You’ll manage performance, plan staffing, handle investigations, and collaborate with warehouse and planning teams in a fast-moving operation.

The role offers hands-on leadership with real responsibility and scope to influence transport safety and service.

Qualifications

• Proven experience leading large operational teams.
• Strong knowledge of transport legislation and vehicle standards.
• Confidence handling performance management and disciplinary processes.
• Excellent organisational skills in a fast-paced, operational environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead, motivate and develop a transport team including 3 coordinators and up to 100 drivers.
• Manage driver performance, infringements and driving capability, including investigations and hearings.
• Ensure deliveries to stores are completed safely, compliantly and on time.
• Maintain compliance with transport legislation, working time regulations, tachograph law and internal procedures.
• Plan staffing levels to meet demand and manage absence/overtime.
• Oversee vehicle compliance and support investigations into incidents.
• Use systems to manage performance, compliance and delivery execution.
