Job description

Job Title: Transport/Service Coordinator

Location: Larkfield, England, United Kingdom

Working Hours: Night Shift, Mon – Fri (45 hrs) 22:00 – 07:00

Job Description:

Our Transport/Service Coordinator will be responsible for the safe dispatch of all vehicles daily to meet or exceed customer service expectations. Managing our team of Night Drivers, the successful candidate will ensure the continued delivery of a timely and accurate service to all customers, involving effective use of resources and manpower.

Responsibilities:
  • Prepare weekly and daily KPI reports.
  • Manage drivers daily, resolve issues they may have.
  • Coordinate with customer service regarding Salesforce enquiries.
  • Conduct driver performance reviews and development planning.
  • Handle recruitment duties for replacement drivers.
  • Manage driver holidays/absences and arrange route coverage.
  • Organise vehicle servicing, maintenance, and breakdowns.
  • Download data from vehicle Tacho units and cameras.
  • Arrange permits for onsite contractors.
  • Complete accident and incident reports and submit within set timeframes.
  • Conduct driver assessments and work observations regularly.

Candidate Profile:

We seek candidates with experience in people management within a Supervisor/Transport/Service environment.

Minimum Requirements:
  • Ability to work independently.
  • Effective time management and multitasking skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and email communication.
  • Self-motivated, reliable, and enthusiastic.
  • Team player and motivator, able to work under pressure.
  • CPC qualification (advantageous).
  • LGV & ADR Licences (advantageous).
