Job summary

SRG Recruitment is seeking a Traffic Planner to join a busy general haulage company near Southampton. You will be part of the Traffic team, coordinating weekly and daily vehicle routing to ensure timely deliveries and collections.

The role requires experience in planning HGV routes and back office admin, strong organisational skills, and the ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines. A rotating shift pattern with Saturdays on rotation is included.

Qualifications

• Previous experience planning routes for HGV vehicles and back office administration within the transport industry.
• Demonstrable organisational skills, meeting deadlines and working under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Plan routes for each vehicle to enable deliveries and collections.
• Manage internal KPI and customer KPI-driven routing and planning.
• Ensure compliance with WTD, Road Transport Directive, Tachograph legislation and H&S policies.
