Job summary

Dpdgroup in Carlisle is seeking a Transport Clerk to join the Traffic office team. You will track transport routes, ensure HGV drivers are on duty, and that trailers arrive at Hub sites as planned. The role involves issuing routes to drivers and supporting Transport Shift Managers with administration.

Responsibilities include licence checks for agency drivers, dynamic communication across hubs, and comprehensive reporting and data analysis to keep operations running smoothly across the network.

Responsibilities

• Track transport routes to ensure drivers arrive on time.
• Ensure trailers arrive at Hub sites as planned.

• Perform licence checks for agency drivers and maintain compliance with O Licence Regulations.
• Provide general administrative support and reporting for the Transport team.
• Undertake comprehensive reporting and data analysis to support operations.
