W Talent in Doncaster is recruiting an experienced and highly organised Transport Supervisor to join a busy logistics operation. You will create efficient, compliant transport plans that maximise fleet and resource utilisation while meeting operational requirements.

This role suits someone with transport planning or scheduling experience who thrives in a fast-paced, time-critical environment and is capable of leading shifts, coaching staff, and maintaining depot records.

Qualifications

• Experience in transport planning or scheduling in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience in logistics operations.

Responsibilities

• Actively demonstrate leadership on shifts, coaching staff.
• Maintain internal databases and follow up defects with Fleet Department.
• Administer vehicle and trailer maintenance program.
• Complete depot daily checks during shift.
• Direct contact with drivers on daily performance and improvement actions.
• Support Operations Manager with depot payroll planning and management.
• Ensure personnel files are up to date including licenses and training.
• Coordinate recruitment and training of employees.
• Assist in accident investigations and follow-up.
• Complete daily risk assessments of yard and office.
• Identify maintenance/repair issues and inform Operations Manager.
• Provide information for weekly KPI reports.
