You will work on development planning projects across the UK, including large residential masterplans, education schemes and university-led developments, while building client relationships and taking ownership of projects.

Transport Planner / Senior Transport Planner

Manchester | Employee-Owned Consultancy

I'm currently working with a well-established, employee-owned engineering consultancy as they look to strengthen their Transport Planning team in Manchester. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a business that has built an excellent reputation across the UK and works on a broad range of development planning projects, including large-scale residential masterplans, education sector developments and university-led schemes. The team is continuing to grow and is looking for either a Transport Planner or Senior Transport Planner to support an increasing workload. What really stands out to me about this opportunity is the level of responsibility you'll be given. The team actively encourages planners to build client relationships, take ownership of projects and manage schemes rather than simply producing reports behind the scenes.

You'll be involved in a diverse range of projects and can expect exposure to:

• Transport Assessments and Transport Statements
• Travel Plans
• Junction modelling and analysis
• Residential, mixed-use and education developments
• Client liaison and project management
• Working alongside multi-disciplinary teams

They're keen to speak with Transport Planners and Senior Transport Planners who have experience within development planning and are looking for a business where they can continue progressing their career while gaining greater exposure to clients and project ownership.
