Job summary

XPO TRANSPORT SOLUTIONS UK LIMITED is seeking a Transport Planner for our Aylesbury site, supporting Arla. This full-time, permanent role runs Monday to Friday with core hours. You will assist in planning activities, route allocation, and cost-effective subcontracting to ensure timely, safe deliveries.

You will manage outbound plans, monitor KPIs, and maintain clear communication with drivers and staff while upholding compliance and customer service standards.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication skills with stakeholders.
• Proficient in Excel and Outlook.
• Understanding of fast-paced transport team dynamics.

Responsibilities

• Control outbound plan and schedule drivers to meet delivery times.
• Maintain accuracy and professionalism in planning activities.
• Achieve weekly/monthly KPIs as set by the business or Customer Service.
• Communicate plan to drivers and office staff; highlight improvements.
• Demonstrate high standards of customer service and issue resolution.
• Undertake training and keep within transport legislation and WTD.
