Job summary

SIG Insulation & Dry Lining is seeking a Transport Planner to manage the planning and delivery of orders, coordinating fleet assets and ensuring efficient routing. You will act as the main liaison between fleet operations, drivers, the warehouse team, and sales to deliver excellent customer service using the Transport Planning Tool.

The role suits a detail-oriented learner who can build strong relationships with internal teams, customers, and suppliers.

Qualifications

• Proficient with Excel; experience using K8 is a plus.
• Accurate data input and record-keeping.
• Excellent communication with customers and internal teams.
• Ability to work in a team and build relationships.
• Prioritise workload to meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Plan and coordinate daily transport activities to ensure on-time deliveries.
• Liaise between fleet operations, drivers, warehouse, and sales to maintain service levels.
• Input accurate data into transport systems and manage enquiries from customers.
• Support route planning, scheduling, and debriefing to optimise performance.
• Assist with purchase orders and respond to transport-related queries.
