Overview:
As a Transport Planner, you will be responsible for evaluating, planning, and coordinating transportation and routes for a fleet of 20 3.5t Vehicles and 6 3PL partners to ensure the safe and efficient movement of goods from the supplier into goods in via 3PL partners to customers' residential addresses and the routing of each daily delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
Hourly Rate: £28,000 to £32,000 per annum depending on experience
• Free On-Site parking
Working Hours: Monday – Friday. You will be required to work 1 in 3 Saturdays.
• Working 07:30 – 17:30 Daily

Experience and Education Requirements:
• Education: a good level of secondary education including English and Mathematics as core subjects
• Experience: Hands-on experience with transportation planning software, working within a similar environment and fleet size.
• Skills: Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, effective communication abilities, and familiarity with industry trends, environmental regulations, and traffic management policies

• Understanding of HR procedures
• Understanding of the requirements of Operator Licence, DVSA, DVLA, and Traffic Commissioner roles and regulations as they relate to vehicle maintenance, compliance.
