Qualifications

• Previous experience in transport planning, logistics or similar environment.
• Good organisational and administrative skills.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Ability to work calmly in a busy transport environment.
• Good attention to detail.
• Ability to prioritise and manage multiple tasks.
• Confident communication with drivers, customers and suppliers.
• Basic computer skills and ability to learn new systems.

Responsibilities

• Plan and coordinate vehicle routes using Optrak.
• Manage bookings and transport information in Epicor.
• Answer calls and respond to emails.
• Coordinate transport bookings with internal teams.
• Arrange external haulage when required.
• Conduct driver debriefs and daily briefings.
• Perform tachograph analysis and monitor driver compliance.
• Review transport invoices and ensure vehicle maintenance schedules are followed.
• Support day-to-day transport department operations.
• Communicate with drivers, customers and suppliers as needed.
• Handle admin and transport duties; may drive a 3.5-tonne van occasionally.
