Job summary

Culina is hiring a Transport Planner to contribute to the transport team in a fast-paced environment across the UK. You will oversee the day-to-day planning, coordinate with transport and warehouse teams, and manage high-volume loads and collections while maintaining service levels and KPI targets.

The role requires strong UK geography knowledge, TMS experience, and excellent communication. You will work across multiple depots and sites, adapting to peak periods and leveraging Culina's

Qualifications

• Knowledge of UK geography required.
• Experience planning units across multiple depots.
• Strong communication under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Plan and oversee day-to-day transport operations.
• Assemble 400+ consolidated orders into loads every 24 hours.
• Subcontract and plan orders across UK warehouses and sites.
• Plan daily fleet workload based on site and outbases.
• Report problems and handle queries.
• Plan approx. 100 collections per day on a time-critical basis.
• Maintain and exceed KPIs.
• Continuously seek improvements.
• Make decisions under pressure with tight timescales.
• Be flexible to meet peak-period demand.
• Utilise Culina Group network to support Warrens when volumes dictate.
