Job summary

Simply Jobsworth is seeking a organised Transport Planner / Loader in Ashton to join the busy Transport team on a permanent basis. The role combines planning routes with hands-on loading, ensuring on-time dispatch and safe loading of vehicles.

You'll work with the Transport Manager to plan daily routes, maintain transport records, check deliveries against paperwork and support customer service targets. A proactive candidate with good IT skills, a full UK driving licence and a clear focus on

Responsibilities

• Support the Transport Manager with daily transport planning and route scheduling.
• Update transport systems and maintain accurate transport documentation.
• Coordinate with Production, Warehouse and Customer Services to meet delivery requirements.
• Monitor vehicle availability and loading priorities.
• Load vehicles safely and in line with loading plans.
• Report discrepancies and ensure on-time dispatch.
