Job summary

MTrec Commercial are seeking an experienced Transport Planner to join their growing team on a full-time, permanent basis. You will manage and plan an established HGV fleet, maintain proactive communication with drivers and customers, and ensure accurate route costing and delivery planning.

You will work in a supportive, collaborative culture with opportunities for progression and ongoing training. The role offers a Monday–Friday schedule with 28 days leave and accessible offices, starting

Qualifications

• Proven experience working with HGV fleets.
• Proven transport planning experience.
• Costings and financial management in transport planning.
• Excellent interaction with customers, drivers and clients.
• Previous route planning experience.
• Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
• Strong planning ability.
• Knowledge of curtain sizes and related aspects is highly beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Manage an established and reputable HGV fleet.
• Plan and maintain an HGV fleet.
• Ensure clear and proactive communication with drivers and customers.
• Cost routes and planning for the HGV fleet.
• Ensure excellent administration during planning and execution.
• Liaise with contractors as required.
• Represent the client’s brand professionally at all times.
• Manage sub-contractors when required.
