Job summary

Transport Planner role based in Aston, Birmingham. Salary £33,900 per annum and a 40-hour week on Monday to Friday with some flexible start times. No weekend work.

You'll plan and coordinate daily transport operations to ensure deliveries run efficiently for an established food and beverage company. Experience in transport planning, logistics or fleet operations is preferred. Qargo experience is highly beneficial, and training is available for strong planners.

Qualifications

• Experience in transport planning, logistics or fleet operations.
• Experience using Qargo is beneficial; training available for strong planners.
• Organised, reliable and able to prioritise in a busy environment.

Responsibilities

• Plan and schedule daily transport requirements.
• Coordinate deliveries and ensure correct job bookings.
• Work with drivers, customers and internal teams.
• Ensure transport plans are efficient and achievable.
• Use the Qargo system to manage and plan work.
• Handle changes and issues as they arise.
• Support the wider transport operation as needed.
• Overtime may be required and can be done remotely where appropriate.
