Job summary

Culina Group Limited is looking for a Transport Planner to join our Rugby site on a full-time permanent basis. The role involves overseeing day-to-day transport operations, creating efficient plans with our TMS, and coordinating 400+ orders daily.

Salary is £33,000 per annum, with night shifts Tue–Sat, 8pm–6am. Candidates should have UK geography knowledge, FMCG experience, strong Excel skills, and the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• UK geography knowledge required.
• Proficient with MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook).
• Experience planning units across multiple depots.
• Excellent communication under pressure.
• Experience in FMCG.
• Strong analytical and Excel skills.

Responsibilities

• Complete and oversee day-to-day planning of transport operations.
• Create efficient transport plans using latest TMS.
• Assemble 400+ consolidated orders into loads daily.
• Subcontract and plan orders from multiple sites across the UK.
• Plan daily fleet workload based on site and outbases.
• Report problems and resolve queries promptly.
• Plan ~100 collections per day on a time-critical basis.
• Maintain and exceed KPIs and drive continuous improvements.
• Make decisions under pressure and within tight timescales.
• Be flexible to meet peak-period business needs and utilise Culina network.
