Kinaxia Logistics in Colchester is seeking a Transport Planner to organise collection and delivery schedules using cost-efficient methods, aligned with business goals and customer service standards.

The role involves a 45-hour week, including one Saturday per month, with shifts from 09:30 to 18:30. Candidates should understand highway rules, transport systems and be capable of improving operational efficiency.

Qualifications

• Experience in transport planning and fleet scheduling.
• Knowledge of highway regulations and transport operations.
• Ability to analyse logistics problems and propose improvements.

Responsabilités

• Plan and allocate drivers and vehicles using IT systems and portals.
• Coordinate with Workshop to ensure vehicle and trailer availability.
• Communicate plans to transport team and stakeholders to ensure on-time deliveries.
• Manage staffing levels, including agency staff, to meet daily plan and customer needs.
• Book and schedule customer deliveries and backloads, meeting customer expectations.
• Identify and drive continuous improvements to operations.
