Job summary

Personnel Solutions (Midlands) Limited is recruiting for a Transport Clerk in Foston, Derbyshire on an ongoing temporary basis with potential to go permanent. The role pays £15.00 per hour and runs 4pm–midnight, Monday to Friday. Training on planning is provided if needed, and previous transport experience is essential.

Key duties include planning and re-routing drivers, scheduling routes, supervising drivers, debriefing and briefing, handling calls and emails, and maintaining records.

Qualifications

• Experience in transport is essential; training on planning can be provided.
• Taco master experience would be ideal.
• Planning experience is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Plan and re-route drivers.
• Schedule routes.
• Manage a team of drivers and resolve daily issues.
• Debrief and brief drivers.
• Handle customer inquiries via phone and email.
• Admin and record keeping.
