Interaction Recruitment Group is seeking a Transport Administrator & Planner to support our clients' Transport / Office Department in Tankersley, Barnsley. The role requires strong IT skills and Excel expertise, with SAP experience a bonus, and the ability to manage data and communicate with drivers and customers.

The position offers Sunday to Thursday shifts 06:00–14:30, a fixed salary of £27,622.40 per year, and a temp-to-perm contract.

Qualifications

• High competence in Microsoft Excel is essential.
• Experience in traffic, transport, warehousing, or logistics environment is preferable.
• Excellent organisational and administrative skills.
• Ability to communicate effectively with drivers, customers, and internal teams.

Responsibilities

• Sunday: Transport planning and scheduling.
• Monday - Thursday: Interaction with drivers and customers; general transport administration; KPI inputting and reporting; system checks and updates; supporting the wider Transport/Office Department with day-to-day tasks.
