Job summary

Manpower UK is seeking a Transport Planner in Leicestershire on a fixed-term basis. The role involves handling driver calls, resolving queries, and arranging deliveries, with dispatch duties across a national driver network. You will also make outbound customer calls to update on progress and changes.

This Transport Planner role in Leicestershire is a temporary position with Manpower UK, based at Stoney Stanton. Working 30 hours per week across Friday to Monday or Wednesday to Saturday, 0600–1400, the successful candidate handles incoming calls from drivers, resolves queries and arranges deliveries. Dispatching orders through efficient use of the driver network forms a central duty, alongside outbound calls updating customers on progress.

Pay starts at £13.85 per hour, with overtime and weekend shifts paid at £20.78. The fixed-term contract runs from 9 November 2026 to 31 March 2027. Free parking, PPE and training are provided, plus access to online courses. Strong communication, organisation and problem-solving skills are essential.
