Job summary

365 People is seeking a Transport Planner for a Leicestershire-based logistics operation. You will build daily transport plans for the region, defining routes, trucks and timings to maximise efficiency and reduce idle mileage.

You will work closely with the Section Leader and Deputy, respond to live issues such as delays and last‑minute changes, and arrange subcontracted cover when in‑house capacity is exceeded.

Qualifications

• Proven transport planning experience within haulage, distribution or logistics.
• Strong working knowledge of transport planning software/systems.
• Good communication skills; works with operational team.

Responsibilities

The Role

A logistics operation in Leicestershire is recruiting a Transport Planner to plan and build efficient delivery and collection routes for a regional fleet operating on a 4 on 4 off shift pattern.
