JOB TITLE Transport Planning Executive - Luton

SHIFTS 4 on 4 off, 07:00 - 19:00

SALARY £31,668 - £33,852 DOE

With a base in 5 European countries and a growing presence in mainland Europe we are looking for Transport Planning Executive to play a major role in our Global Solutions team.

With our dedicated airside fleet and driving team, GBA Logistics offers a uniquely transparent one-stop-shop in aviation logistics. We provide customer-tailored services including domestic and international scheduled transport; freight management; UK & European aircraft-on-ground (AOG) dedicated transport; and inventory management. By delivering the ‘last mile’ directly into the hands of the airlines’ line engineers, our team is positioned as the most viable company to offer a global end-to-end solution to support the airline industry in Europe.

Key Responsibilities

  • Initiate & co-ordinate transport bookings both on our internal fleet and external approved subcontractors.
  • To provide timely and proactive updates on all movements directly to our customers.
  • Liaising with customers, partners, shipping lines and carriers.
  • General Administration.
  • Maintaining Aviation Security protocols and a safe working environment all times

You

  • >2 years previous transport planning or logistics experience.
  • Full, UK Driving License with less than 6 points.
  • The ability to prioritise and organise own workload to tight deadlines.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • 5 Year checkable employment history & Right to Work in UK.
