Monday to Friday, 0700am - 1600pm.

Silver Arrow require an experienced Transport Planner to work for a logistics company based in the Leigh area.

Your Role:

• Plan vehicle routes coordinating the efficient movement of palletised freight across a network of depots and delivery points.
• Liaising with partner depots in the pallet network to coordinate collections and deliveries.
• Communicating with drivers to ensure timely and accurate deliveries.
• Handling admin duties, including updating transport management systems and maintaining compliance records including driver hours and health & safety.

What we need from you:

• Previous transport planning experience - minimum 1 year.
• Knowledge of UK road transport regulations and pallet network operations.
• Strong organisational and communication skills.
• Familiarity with transport planning software and logistics platforms.
• Ability to work under pressure and adapt to changing delivery schedules.
• Knowledge of Knowledge of driver compliance and legislation.
• Ability to work under pressure and to deadlines.
