Transport Planner/ Relief Van Driver - Exeter - Up to £28,500 per annum

I currently have an exciting opportunity for an experienced planner with van driving and air freight experience to join a leading UK logistics company at their site in Exeter.

Job type: Permanent

Hours: Days, Monday - Friday

Salary: Up to £28,500 per annum

Key Responsibilities:

1. Route planning & coordinating
2. Dealing with incoming calls and requests, providing excellent customer service
3. Vehicle loading/unloading
4. Maintaining accurate mileage, driving hours, and delivery log records
5. Fleet management - undertaking minor repairs and liaising with the depot management team
6. Promoting health and safety standards and aviation security compliance
7. Driving vehicles and delivering goods (when required)

Requirements:

1. Previous experience as a transport planner
2. Excellent knowledge of local roads and routes
3. Aviation security knowledge
4. Hazardous goods awareness
5. Strong communication skills
