Movianto is hiring a Transport Operator in Slough to manage day-to-day transport operations, focusing on quality, health & safety, and regulatory compliance. You will ensure client deliveries are processed and booked accurately, support drivers with information, and use various IT systems to answer queries and keep operations running smoothly.

• Support daily operations including TMS maintenance, booking deliveries and handling temperature deviations.

You'll be working Monday to Friday, 4:00 - 12:15 (37.5 hours per week) on an annual salary of £28,448.53 per annum, plus a location allowance of £2000.00 per annum.

Purpose of the role

The Transport Operator will be responsible for maintaining the day-to-day transport operation with a focus on the quality, H&S and transport compliance on site.

The individual will be responsible for ensuring that Movianto's client deliveries are processed and booked in with customers in a timely and correct manner, providing ongoing support using various IT systems, answering queries and ensuring our drivers have all the information they require.

How you'll make an impact at Movianto as a Transport Operator:

• Manage scanning, manifesting, and tracking of daily deliveries in line with SOPs and compliance standards.
• Brief and debrief drivers using TMS, Verilocation, Tachomaster, Odyssey, and Fleet Check, ensuring accurate and signed paperwork.
• Resolve delivery and collection issues promptly, supporting drivers throughout their routes.
• Deliver excellent customer service across all communication channels.
• Ensure compliance with DVSA and health & safety regulations, managing inspections, MOTs, servicing, and incident reporting.
• Support daily operations including TMS maintenance, booking deliveries, handling temperature deviations, cross-dock activity, on-road cover, and team engagement.

• Good understanding of driver hours regulations and health & safety standards, ensuring operational compliance.

• Proficient in administration and MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) with great attention to detail.
• Professional, reliable, punctual, and accountable with a strong work ethic.
• Confident operating an FLT (licence desirable; training available) and adaptable to change and new challenges.
