Job summary

PKL is seeking a Transport Supervisor to lead daily transport operations, ensuring timely delivery and collection of catering equipment and modular buildings. You will enforce PKL safety protocols and regulatory compliance while optimizing fleet efficiency and customer service.

The role involves scheduling routes, managing drivers and subcontractors, coordinating with customers, and delivering regular performance reports to the Head of Transport.

Qualifications

• Demonstrable experience in a transport or logistics supervisory role.
• Solid understanding of transport regulations and route planning.
• Proven ability to manage and motivate a team of drivers.
• Strong communication and multitasking in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily scheduling and routing to ensure efficient transport operations.
• Monitor performance of in-house drivers and subcontractors for safety and policy compliance.
• Source and manage subcontracted transport providers and review performance.
• Ensure vehicles and drivers comply with health, safety and transport legislation.
• Plan and coordinate deliveries and collections for events and orders.
• Maintain records of inspections, logs, fuel consumption and KPIs.
