Bestway Group is seeking a Transport Operations Manager to oversee day-to-day operations at our National Distribution Centres. You will lead transport and warehousing activities, ensure DVSA compliance, and act as GM in the GM's absence.

• Lead daily operations to meet KPIs and service levels.
• Ensure transport operations meet DVSA regulations.
• Act as GM when required.
• Drive team productivity and ensure accurate shift reporting.
• Monitor staff productivity and shift performance.
• Ensure adherence to WMS procedures.
• Ensure staffing levels are achieved and kept within budget.
• Conduct stock investigations and maintain hygiene and housekeeping standards.

About the role

As a TransportOperations Manager you will be responsible for overseeing the day to day operations of our National Distribution Centres. This is a pivotal leadership role responsible for ensuring operational excellence, compliance, and continuous improvement across warehousing and transport functions.

In the absence of the GM youwill assume full responsibility for the site.

• Experience of delivering both excellent Customer Service and Customer Satisfaction results
• Team building skills alongside the ability to give clear direction and delegate confidently
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Excellent listening skills
