Job summary

V3 Recruitment LTD seeks a Transport Manager to drive operational improvements and support strategic growth of the transport function. The role focuses on depot leadership, expanding the fleet from 6 to 12+ vehicles, and delivering automation between the ERP system and MaxOptra to streamline transport planning.

You will oversee driver and vehicle management, ensure safety and compliance, deliver on-time, cost-effective service, and provide structured monthly reporting to the Operations Director

Qualifications

Proven experience in implementing and scaling transport operations across new geographical regions.
Strong knowledge of multi-drop route optimisation, particularly within London and surrounding areas.
Ability to produce clear and structured monthly reporting for the Operations Director and senior leadership.
Excellent Excel skills for reporting and root cause analysis.
Can-do attitude delivering best in class service.

Responsibilities

Manage depot transport operations to deliver on-time, cost-effective service.
Develop strong relationships with Customers, Drivers, and internal teams.
Monitor budgets and cost controls.
Ensure health, safety, and compliance culture.
Lead operational improvements and KPI achievement.
