Job summary

Lockwood Group is offering an exciting Transport Operations Apprentice role within our national logistics operation. You will work under the Transport Team to support day-to-day fleet activities and learn through hands-on experience.

You will pursue a Level 3 Transport Operations Supervisor Apprenticeship while employed full-time, gaining valuable knowledge in fleet maintenance, compliance and reporting, with mentoring from experienced professionals.

Qualifications

• Organised and detail-oriented, with good communication.
• Willingness to learn and develop in transport and logistics.
• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office applications and ability to learn quickly.
• Full UK driving licence is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Assist with day-to-day transport operations and fleet support.
• Support vehicle maintenance planning, scheduling and compliance.
• Learn transport legislation, operator licensing and industry best practices.
• Maintain fleet records and documentation; assist with licensing and taxation.
