Serco North America is looking for a dedicated Transport Manager in King's Lynn to oversee fleet operations and ensure compliance with UK transport legislation. You will manage fleet maintenance, ensuring vehicles are available for essential services across our contracts.
Your role involves maintaining high operational standards, working closely with stakeholders, and supporting teams to deliver uninterrupted services. The position offers part-time hours with flexibility and excellent benefits including a pension scheme and extensive training opportunities.
Location: King's Lynn, Norfolk, NR11 6SU
Salary: £26,000 - £27,000 plus excellent benefits
Schedule: Part time, 24 hours per week (open for flexible on-site working hours)
As a Transport Manager, you'll play a vital role in delivering a safe, compliant and reliable fleet operation that supports essential services across our contracts. You'll ensure vehicles are maintained, available and fully compliant with Operator Licence requirements, helping our teams deliver for communities every day.
You'll focus on keeping the fleet run efficiently, supporting frontline teams to deliver services without disruption. By maintaining high standards and working closely with stakeholders, you'll help ensure operations run as they should, day in and day out.
As well as checking eligibility to work in the UK, you will also complete an Occupational Health Questionnaire to help us identify and provide any support you may need to undertake the role effectively.
