Job summary

TLP Recruitment seeks a hands-on Transport Manager to own the transport function and join the site leadership team. You’ll run a nationwide operation of 60+ vehicles, manage an office team of 5, and influence a critical part of the business.

With a mixed fleet under an O-Licence, you’ll work toward CPC within 12 months. You’ll lead daily operations, ensure service and cost targets, and foster a culture of improvement and accountability.

The role

• Running daily transport operations, hitting service, cost and compliance targets


• Leading, coaching and developing your office team and driver workforce


• Keeping the fleet maintained, legal and compliant with O-Licence standards via approved service providers


• Tracking performance, solving problems in real time and driving improvement


• Acting as a key voice in the site leadership team

With a mixed fleet of artics and rigids under an O-Licence. A CPC isn't essential — but you must be prepared to work towards it and gain it within your first 12 months.
