DHL, an award-winning leading supply chain business, is seeking a Transport Manager to play a vital role in coordinating our daily warehouse and distribution requirements.

What does the role entail?

As part of your duties, while maintaining excellent health and safety practices, you will:

• The Transport Manager is accountable for the safe, legal, and efficient execution of transport operations and is the named CPC holder on the operator licence.
• The Transport Manager holds the transport P&L and is responsible for executing transport plans to meet SLA's and KPI's.
• Leading the transport team through effective leadership, communication, and development, fostering a culture of high performance, safety, and compliance.
• Ensuring driver and fleet compliance with legal standards and DHL policies.
• Ownership and compliance with Engineering Operational Performance Reviews.
• H&S accountability for the site and driver teams.

What do we need from you?

• International CPC is essential.
• Experience with TMS systems such as Paragon, Microlise, Tachomaster is essential; Quintiq experience is desirable.
• IT literacy, including Microsoft Office.
• Strong communication skills.
• Previous experience in Transport Management.
