Job summary

Bennett And Game Recruitment is seeking an experienced Transport Manager to build and lead a new transport division in Colchester after the company acquired its Operator's Licence.

You will own the operation, manage a small fleet of 5-6 vehicles, supervise drivers (including agency drivers), ensure regulatory compliance, and develop processes to scale the division. Initially office-based with hybrid/remote options once established.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Transport Manager.
• Valid Transport Manager CPC.
• Strong knowledge of transport compliance and legislation.
• Experience managing commercial vehicles and drivers.
• Ability to build and develop a transport operation from the ground up.
• Freight forwarding, haulage or courier experience is beneficial but not essential.

Salary & Benefits

• £45,000-£55,000 basic salary, depending on experience.
