Job summary

CPC Project Services is seeking an experienced Project Manager to join our Transport & Infrastructure team in Manchester. You’ll deliver highways improvements, bus infrastructure and local authority schemes across the North West, taking ownership from development through delivery including business cases and funding applications.

You’ll work with clients and multidisciplinary teams to turn transport priorities into investable projects, while building strong relationships and contributing to

• PM experience in transport or infrastructure sectors.
• Experience supporting business cases and funding submissions.
• Strong programme, cost, risk and stakeholder management.
• Experience coordinating multidisciplinary teams.
• Strong client relationships and communication in public sector.
• Proactive, collaborative, solutions-focused.
• Relevant professional qualification or progress towards chartership.

Responsibilities

• Establish project objectives, delivery strategies, programmes, budgets, governance and reporting
• Coordinate business cases, funding submissions and investment approvals
• Manage cost, programme, risk, change and quality
• Procure and manage consultants, contractors and multidisciplinary teams
• Lead project meetings and workshops, resolving issues and momentum
• Engage stakeholders with clear, timely communication across partners
• Support community engagement and social impact in project development
• Provide reporting and advice to support decision-making
• Oversee projects through feasibility to handover
• Support CPC North West Transport & Infrastructure business development
