Job summary

Russell Taylor Group in London or Southampton is seeking an Associate Director - Transport & Highways to help grow the established Transport team and guide its strategic direction. The role offers a clear pathway towards Director level and a chance to shape client relationships across the South of England.

You will lead project delivery, win new business, and mentor colleagues while working across multiple transport studies and highways schemes.

Qualifications

• Significant experience within Transport Planning and/or Highways Design.
• Experience delivering transport studies, assessments, highways schemes or infrastructure projects.
• Excellent client-facing and communication skills.
• Demonstrable appetite for business development.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective clients across London and the South East.
• Identify and pursue new business opportunities within private and public sectors.
• Collaborate with colleagues across the wider multidisciplinary business to maximise cross-selling and internal BD opportunities.
• Lead and oversee the successful delivery of transport planning and highways projects.
• Provide technical and strategic input across development and infrastructure projects.
• Support growth, development and performance of the regional Transport team.
• Manage project budgets, programmes, quality and commercial performance.
• Mentor and develop less experienced team members.
• Represent the business at client meetings, industry events and BD opportunities.
• Help shape the future strategy and direction of the Transport South business.
