Pay Rate: £35,000 to £37,000 (Dependent on Experience)

Contract Type: Permanent (Full-Time)
Shift patterns: Monday to Friday, 5am to 2pm & 2pm to 10pm (Rotational)

DHL, an award-winning leading supply chain business is seeking a Transport First Line Manager to play a vital role coordinating our daily logistics requirements. To succeed in this role, you should have a comprehensive knowledge of supply chain supervisory practices and a demonstrative understanding of warehouse procedures, including storing goods, dispatching orders and tracking transportation vehicles.

WHAT DOES THE ROLE ENTAIL?

• Ensure safe and efficient running of the day to day Transport Operation
• Customer service levels inline with Customer SLA's through efficient utilisation of resources
• Manage a team of drivers, including regular PD Meetings and Performance Management.
• Manage Driver adherence to compliance with all legal requirements, including Infringement Management, Driver Hours, Etc
• Ensure compliance to all Standard Operating Procedures (SOP's)
• Ensure timely and accurate reporting of business metrics & Go Green

• Excellent organisational and problem-solving skills, with the ability to supervise, organise and train direct reports
