Job summary

Rehlko is seeking a Transport Driver to join our depot in Heanor. You will work within company quality, health, safety and environmental procedures, perform daily checks on the vehicles, safely load/unload,and deliver/collect equipment across the UK.

The ideal candidate has long distance van driving experience, trailer experience, a valid licence with minimal points, and strong communication skills to interact with customers from diverse industries.

Qualifications

• Long Distance Van Driving experience.
• Trailer experience is essential.
• A valid in-date driver’s licence with minimal points.
• Comfortable communicating via telephone and face-to-face.
• -capable of dealing with customers from various industries.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to quality, health & safety and environmental procedures.
• Perform daily vehicle checks.
• Safe loading/unloading and trailer coupling.
• Refuel and operate generators on hire at customer sites.
• Deliver and collect company equipment across the UK.

Transport Driver

WB Power Services are currently recruiting a Transport Driver to work out of our depot in Heanor. This is a superb opportunity for a Driver to join the business through this rapid period of growth.

WB Power Services is a leading generator specialist that provides solutions, maintenance, sales and hires to customers across the UK. We are a family-owned and run business and truly hold our values at the heart of everything we do, offering a unique and friendly place of work while maintaining the highest professional standards.

Shift Requires working 4 on 4 off day shift.

The Role:

• Working within Company quality, health & safety and environmental procedures
• Daily checks on the vehicles
• Safe loading/unloading vehicles/coupling up trailers.
• Refuelling of generators which are on hire on customer sites
• Delivering and collecting company equipment to and from all areas of the UK.
• Completing all necessary worksheets and hire documentation.
• General parts collections from suppliers when necessary.
• Keeping tachograph and other legal requirements involved with modern day driving on UK roads and highways.
• Providing 24/7 driver cover as required in line with driving hours legalities.

The Person

• Long Distance Van Driving experience.
• Trailer experience is essential.
• Willing to work in a permanent role.
• You must have a valid in-date driver's licence with minimal points.
• Comfortable with communicating via telephone and face-to-face.
• The capability to deal with a variety of customers from different industries.
