Job summary

Rehlko is recruiting HGV Drivers with HIAB to operate from our Gloucester depot, offering day or night shifts. This role suits a hands-on driver who can manage HIAB loading, loading checks, and timely deliveries across sites with a focus on safety and efficiency.

You will maintain driver hours, complete tachograph records, and ensure loads are secured while providing excellent service to diverse customers. A valid HIAB licence, ADR (desirable), and CPC are required.

Qualifications

• In-date HIAB licence is essential
• Max tonnage on HIAB licence desirable
• At least 1 year experience with HIAB/Lorry Loader
• In-date ADR licence desirable
• Willing to work in a permanent role
• Must have valid in-date driver qualification card and CPC
• Comfortable communicating by phone and in person
• Able to handle customers from various industries

Responsibilities

• Shift pattern: 4 on 4 off, days or nights
• Use HIAB to deliver generators to sites
• Deliver and collect company equipment in multiple areas
• Maintain driver hours and ensure tachograph records are accurate
• Conduct checks on trucks and trailers
• Assist with general parts collection as needed
• Ensure loads are properly secured with restraints
• Operate vehicles within speed limits and log records accurately

What You Will Love this Job Role overview

We are currently recruiting HGV Drivers with HIAB to work days or nights out of our depot in Gloucester. This is a superb opportunity for a HGV Driver to join the business through this period of growth.

• Shift Requires working 4 on 4 off day shifts.


• Using a lorry loader/HIAB to deliver generators to sites.


• Delivering and collecting company equipment in multiple areas.


• Maintain driver hours and tachograph are observed & proper records are kept.


• Complete checks on the company trucks and trailers.


• General parts collections from suppliers when necessary.


• Ensure the load is correctly secured using restraints.


• Operating vehicles within speed limits.


• Accurate recording keeping using the company’s bespoke management system.

The Person Having a in-date HIAB licence is essential. Having maximum tonnage on your HIAB licence is desirable. At least one years experience working with HIAB/Lorry Loader. Having a in-date ADR licence is desirable. Willing to work in a permanent role. You must have a valid in-date driver qualification card along with in date driver CPC. Comfortable with communicating via telephone and face-to-face. The capability to deal with a variety of customers from different industries
