tangerine in London is seeking a talented Transport Designer to join our studio. You will contribute across discovery, concept, and implementation, working with strategists, CMF designers, engineers and clients to shape mobility experiences.

The role requires 2–3 years in transport design, strong sketching and CAD skills, and fluency in English. The position offers hybrid working with three days in the studio and international travel as needed.

Qualifications

• BA/MA in Transport Design or related field
• 2–3 years in aviation, rail, automotive or mobility sectors
• Strong portfolio demonstrating creativity and execution
• Excellent sketching and visual communication
• Proficiency in 3D CAD software (Alias/Rhino/SolidWorks)
• Strong rendering skills and knowledge of CMF development
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite
• Experience with Blender/KeyShot or similar
• Excellent written and spoken English

Responsibilities

• Support transport design projects from concept to implementation
• Generate innovative, user-centred design concepts across sectors
• Develop sketches, renderings, and design presentations
• Create and refine 3D CAD models using industry-standard software
• Translate research and strategy into design solutions
• Collaborate within multidisciplinary project teams
• Participate in design reviews, workshops and client presentations
• Produce storytelling and communication materials
• Support prototyping and concept evaluation
• Stay informed on transport and mobility trends
• Assist with business development and proposals
