Job summary

tangerine in London is seeking a talented and ambitious Industrial Designer with 3+ years of professional experience to join our London studio. This role is ideal for designers looking to advance within a leading design consultancy, with experience in aviation, rail, automotive, mobility, consumer products or related sectors preferable.

You will work as part of a collaborative multidisciplinary team, contributing to all stages of the design process from research and insight generation through to

Qualifications

• BA or MA in Industrial Design or related discipline required.
• Minimum 3 years' professional industrial design experience.
• Strong portfolio demonstrating creativity and design excellence.
• Experience delivering projects from concept to detailed design.
• Strong sketching, visual communication and storytelling skills.
• Proficient in SolidWorks and/or Rhino.
• Strong visualisation skills using Blender or similar.
• Good communication of design ideas in English.
• Knowledge of design for manufacture and production processes.
• Experience in consultancy environments and with international clients.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to design projects from discovery through to implementation.
• Generate concepts and design solutions based on research and insights.
• Develop 3D CAD models and design proposals.
• Create visualisations, presentations and storytelling materials.
• Conduct desktop research and support user-centred design activities.
• Participate in ideation workshops and collaborative sessions.
• Collaborate with researchers, strategists, engineers and designers across disciplines.
• Present work to internal teams and clients.
• Support project planning, reviews and design documentation.
• Produce detailed design solutions with consideration for manufacture and implementation.
• Contribute to studio culture and cross-disciplinary collaboration.
• Support business development activities and pitches as required.
