South Yorkshire Mayoral Combined Authority is seeking a Transport Data Analyst to join the Insight team at the Sheffield Head Office. You will collect, analyse and interpret transport data to support evidence-based policy and service improvements.

We are looking for a curious and analytical Transport Data Analyst to join our Insight Team and help shape the future of transport across South Yorkshire.
This role will support the delivery of research, analysis and reporting activities across a range of transport programmes, including public transport, active travel and wider strategic transport priorities. Working with colleagues across SYMCA, you will help ensure that decisions are informed by robust data, evidence and insight.
Reporting to the Lead Transport Research & Data Analyst, you will support the collection, analysis and interpretation of transport data, helping to provide evidence that informs policy, planning and service improvements.
This is an excellent opportunity to develop your analytical skills while contributing to projects and programmes that improve transport services across South Yorkshire.
You will be an analytical and detail-oriented individual with a passion for data and an interest in transport, research and public policy.
